Some clients would tend to forget that the VAs they hired are humans too. This means that they somehow forget that a VA do possess a personal life and owns sets of issues. They possess certain behaviors, beliefs, likes, dislikes, etc.
A VA would quit depending on the cause and situation the VA is into.One would never know whats the future in store for them. But it would be also be unethical for the VA to leave his/her client on the air without even informing the reason for the resignation. All in all, I think it should be a give and take relationship.

Some great tips there.

Only thing I’d say is I wont use automation with giving links, ebooks etc. Man, the community don’t like it. They get really turned off when someone does that and they haven’t got to know them yet.

I don’t blame them because they already get hammered else where too.

Good stuff, but I’d have to suggest avoiding automation. It defeats the purpose of Twitter, it comes off as spammy (particularly autoresponders), and just using your profile for blog headlines (and nothing else) also chases people away.

Being authentic and transparent on Twitter are the keys to success.

These are all really good tips; however, I love the non-business tweets that I get from my tweeps ~ they’re entertaining and give a glimpse into the personal side of their lives. It’s all part of bonding. Twitter would not be the community it is without these personal haikus.

Great tips for potential clients to help get their head around utilising the services of a virtual assistant. Clear and to the point, and if I was looking for a virtual assistant, I’d do exactly as you’ve advised above. Lists and delegating are definitely the key to good organisation. I’m sure many soloists and entrepreneurs will only have to read this and be that one step closer to delegating.
